Never Say Dy

On 9th, 10th 11th Feb 2024, The Arts Group were very pleased to present their third Murder Mystery play.   A school reunion like no other!! 60 Parishioners joined Detective Inspector Rumbold  (Sally  Baker) in trying to identify the culprit.  Suspects included Sir Michael and Lady Fiona Ainsworth (Gerry Hinton and Sue Moulin), Dy Evans and Madam Evans-Toplova (Teg Harris and Vivianne Anderson), Dr. George Winters (Christo O’Mongain) and Forbes (Paul Huppler).  Tommy Tricker and Daphne (Kelvin Russell and Maureen Speller) provided some highly entertaining magic. As with the magic, the secret of the names of the victim and culprit will remain with the audience .   To the great script written by Maureen were added some unplanned humour (we will not call them mistakes!!) and interesting asides.  The group are especially grateful to Sue Hills for the continuous supply of feedback and coffee; and to Dorf Ruscoe for advice, props and catering.  Around £300 net of expenses will be split between the Waymakers’ Project and the Kenyan Educational Project.
